Updates

I did a way to long pause, but I guess I will keep coming back, and maybe inform you.

*UPDATE*

Ilori: Was loaned to Granada and played 6 games with the Spanish team, not much in one all season. I don’t know if he is part of Liverpool’ plans for next season.

André Silva: He continues to getting better, jumping between the U-19 team and the B team. With Porto B e played 20 games, mostly entering from the bench but still scoring 3 goals.

Ricardo: He is on the rise in this season end, played more and better. Even if he is been more of a very offensive right back than a winger. He played 12 games on both Porto teams and also scored once on each side.

André Gomes: Also making a great end of season, scored a very important goal against Porto, that gave Benfica the access to the portuguese Cup final. He has been sold to an investor, so it is possible that he won’t continue playing for the reds of Lisbon.

Cancelo: One of the best players in the portuguese second league, a player that makes the most out of this opportunity. Keeps getting better and getting ready to the big step into the first team. He played 30 games with Benfica B and scored once.

Agostinho Cá: Loaned to Girona, Agostinho almost didn’t play, in the last 2 seasons he played 33 minutes. A sad thing for a player that I personally had so much hope (and hipe) in.

Bruma: After all the controversy, he was playing very well in Turkey. Sadly he got seriously injured and missed 2/3 of this season. I hope he comes back stronger, he is a joy to watch.

Tiago Ferreira: Doing the same type of season he did last year, to be honest I don’t see much of a improvement in his performance. 30 games this year and I think he will play in the first division next year, but I don’t think it will be with Porto.

Tozé: The best player in the squad and maybe in the league, Tozé is a great player, a player to big for a second division. He played 39 games (all of them) and scored 20 goals (!). Today’s news say that he will the playing in the main squad, and could fight for an important role at Porto.

Betinho: After a good season start, Betinho was loaned to Setubal, were he continued doing well. To be honest, after his last season I almost lost my faith in him, but he his doing much better and proving he can be a first division player.

João Mário: I thought he would be part of the first team this season, but when the season started, he wasn’t even playing with the B team. I did not understand, but apparently the coach did not like his defensive intensity. He got loaned to Setubal as well, and if Betinho proved to be a first division player, João Mário proved to be a potential Sporting first team player.

Chaby: Finally playing and playing well, participated in 27 games, scoring 3 goals. He will continue is evolution next season, but the future looks better for him now.

Rafa: Doing the same as André Silva, playing for Porto B and Porto U-19. Getting better and getting more fans, his potential is undeniable. He will be a full time Porto B player next year and it will be great.

Bernardo Silva: If Tozé is one of the best in the league, well he has company. Bernardo has done a great job, he is the playmaker and he does it with creativity, with quality and quickness. He understands the game and knows how to be influent. 37 games with Benfica B, I hope he gets a change with the first team next year.
